Dr. Richard Silvera Smile Designs - Full Mouth Reconstruction in Century City - Near Beverly Hills
Whether it’s due to trauma, cumulative damage over the years, or a general dissatisfaction with one’s smile, there are times when patients seek full mouth reconstruction. Here at the Century City Office of Richard Silvera, DDS, we call it Smile Design, and we offer some of the best service and expertise around. Whether you are seeking full mouth reconstruction to restore the function of your mouth or for cosmetic reasons, Dr. Silvera has the experience and compassion to help you get the smile you’ve always wanted.
Why Smile Design?
Smile Design, or full mouth reconstruction, not only makes the teeth very aesthetically pleasing, but it can also correct problems due to missing or broken teeth, or clenching, grinding, or bruxing of the teeth. From a cosmetic perspective, the look of your smile is important. It reflects your personality and often provides a first impression to others—and there’s a lot we can do to help if you’re unhappy with it.
What Can I Expect with Smile Design?
Dr. Silvera wants to do everything possible to help you be happy with your smile. That’s why he finds Smile Design to be some of the most rewarding work he does. When patients come to our Beverly Hills area dental office interested in Smile Design, the first step is to have an in-depth consultation where we:
• Explore what bothers you about your teeth.
• Find out if there’s a particular way you like your teeth to look.
• Take impressions of the upper and lower teeth.
• Do a photo shoot so we can compare to the final result.
Using the impressions, we make “wax-ups” that fit into the mouth and look like your reconstructed smile — they allow you try out your new look for an hour or so. It’s important to us that you get to see the plan in action before committing to the end result. When you are ready to move forward, we’ll schedule the needed appointment(s) to get started on your new smile.
Once complete, we’ll compare your new smile to the photos we took at one of your initial visits. We can also discuss any adjustments you want made and provide any needed maintenance and follow-up care. We want you to be completely happy with your new smile, and we want it to last for your lifetime.
